The Hytale pre-purchase is officially live! This is your only chance to claim rare Hytale usernames and OG handles before the Early Access launch on January 13, 2026. Follow this official walkthrough to ensure you don't miss out on your preferred identity.
Visit the Store
Head over to store.hytale.com. This is the only official place for Hytale account registration and name reservation.
Create Account
Register using Discord, Epic Games, Google, Microsoft, or E-mail. Make sure to agree to the Terms of Service to proceed.
Pick Your Edition
Choose between Standard ($12.73), Supporter ($22.28), or the founder's Cursebreaker ($44.57) edition.
Claim Your Name
After payment, a "Change Username" window will appear. Enter your OG handle and hit confirm. Success! Your name is now reserved.
Reservation Rules & Limits
- Names must be 3 to 16 characters long.
- Allowed characters: Letters, Numbers, and Underscores.
- One unique name per Hytale game license.
- All reserved names are global across all official servers.
